Cloud Storage

Fast & Reliable Block Storage in the Cloud

Most databases and apps grow over time, and eventually require increased storage capacity. Adding physical storage or upgrading to a bigger server can be a costly and unscalable way to solve capacity issues.

After provisioning a Cloud Server, easily add block storage through the control panel or API, and partition as needed.

Super-fast 10GbE internal network connection to your storage volume means relief from I/O bottlenecks, increased throughput, and better performance for your apps.

Includes free I/O. Pay only for the amount of block storage that you provision.

Cloud Block Storage offers reliable, high-performance, on-demand storage for applications hosted on Cloud Servers. Even the most resource-hungry workloads run seamlessly, so users can always count on your application to perform consistently.

Features

Reliable I/O

As a standard feature, we provision high-capacity storage volumes to significantly reduce IOPS competition and provide a more consistent, high-performance experience.

Restful API

Use a simple, full-featured RESTful web service interface to provision additional block storage or partition existing block storage across your Cloud Servers

Standard or SSD

Standard volumes work well for everyday file system needs, while solid state drive (SSD) volumes deliver even higher performance for databases and I/O-intensive apps.

Persistent Storage

Your storage is yours to keep. If you delete your server, you can attach its associated block storage to another Cloud Server.

CLOUD BACKUPS

Protect & Restore Cloud Servers Files with Cloud Backup

Lost files and system failures can paralyze a project. That’s why having a contingency plan is crucial.

Cloud Backup safeguards your business by helping to protect the important files your website or application needs. Quickly get back to normal operations by rapidly restoring files after a system failure or file loss.

Block-level compression and deduplication reduce storage costs by up to 20x compared to uncompressed backups. After your first backup, additional backups are incremental to lower your total costs.

Easily create, schedule, and manage file-level backups through our Control Panel or API. Because it’s integrated with Cloud Servers on our high-capacity network, protecting files and restoring backups takes just minutes.

Enterprise-grade encryption (AES 256-bit key) helps ensure data is secured with a passphrase known only to you. After creating the key, data is encrypted before it leaves the server, and remains encrypted while stored.

Cloud Backup Features

Easy to Use

Schedule, manage, and restore your files using our intuitive Cloud Control Panel or API. Quickly restore backups to the originating Cloud Server (or any Cloud Server running the backup agent), and choose specific files and folders to back up.

Reliable

File-level backups are transferred over our high-capacity network and written to three storage disks-all on separate nodes or locations that offer dual power supplies.

File-Based Backups

Choose specific files and folders to back up. Restore your whole system with all of its folders and files, select individual files and folders from a given time frame, or restore to an entirely different server.

Customizable Scheduling

You control when and how frequently each backup is performed, as well as how long those files are retained. Create a customized schedule that works for you.

Cloud Files

Scalable Cloud Object Storage

Cloud Files provides online object storage for files and media, delivering them globally at blazing speeds over a worldwide content delivery network (CDN). You can store as many files as you want-even very large files.

Cloud Files maintains three copies of each file, so your users get files faster and more reliably

Cloud Files uses over 200 global edge locations around the world, so your users get content fast-from servers within their region

Store and manage your files using our online control panel or desktop software or programmatically via the Cloud Files API.

Cloud Files – Features

Third Party Integration

Cloud Files integrates with a variety of 3rd party tools built for object storage, such as Cyberduck, Jungle Disk, and FireUploader.

CDN

When you enable a container for CDN, your media files receive a web-ready URL that you can share with anyone. CDN accelerates the speed in which your content is delivered by caching files locally to your users

Static Website hosting

Cloud Files is perfect for non-dynamic web hosting. Host static websites such as blogs, brochure sites, and small company sites entirely from Cloud Files with a global CDN

Private Containers

Security of your files is a top priority, which is why all traffic between your application and Cloud Files uses SSL to establish a secure, encrypted channel. You have full control over sharing your files publicly or keeping them private.
